What is ZenCommunity?

ZenCommunity is Kodezen's all-in-one answer to the classic WordPress community problem: instead of stitching together a forum plugin, a messaging plugin, a live-chat widget, and a helpdesk, it folds all four into one native plugin. Members get a Facebook-style activity feed with groups that can be public, private, or hidden, threaded comments, reactions, mentions, hashtags, polls, group events, and a real-time chat layer (group chats plus one-to-one DMs) powered by WebSockets with typing indicators and read receipts. On the support side, any community post or chat can be converted into a tracked ticket with assignment, priorities, status stages, and private notes — and a customizable, cross-domain live-chat widget covers the site front with offline auto-reply. Where it really stands out is e-learning: it integrates deeply with Kodezen's own Academy LMS (auto-posting course enrollments, completions, and Q&A into groups, plus a native in-community course player) and also bridges Tutor LMS, LearnPress, LearnDash, LifterLMS, and MasterStudy. It's free on WordPress.org with PRO features unlocked by paid plans sold through Freemius, with lifetime licenses from $199. The obvious caveats: it launched in November 2025, has only 30+ reported installs and two very positive reviews, and both the ticketing and live-chat modules are PRO-only.
